Wenjie Zhao is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas 
at Dallas, specializing in computer vision and machine learning. He 
earned his Honors Bachelor of Engineering in Automation from Sichuan
University in 2022. Following this, he was admitted to Xi'an Jiaotong
University to study Software Engineering. After a year, Wenjie decided
to further his education in the United States and is now pursuing his
Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Dallas. His research primarily
centers on out-of-distribution detection and he holds a keen interest
in video understanding.Outside of the lab, Wenjie is dedicated to 
maintaining a healthy lifestyle, consistently incorporating fitness 
activities into his daily routine. However, his true passion lies in
remote control model planes - a hobby that has captivated him since 
childhood and continues to be a beloved interest into adulthood. 
Building and flying these intricate model aircrafts requires focus 
and creativity, skills that complement his academic pursuits remarkably well.
